Amie
Part of the Reflection Series.
Aime is a figure shaped by memory, love, and loss. She holds a delicate locket which was once her mother’s, gazing into it as both sorrow and comfort ripple through her. She carries the weight of grief, but also the warmth of a bond that endures beyond time.
Aime’s presence is gentle yet profound. She is a soul touched by love, guided still by her mother’s unseen hand. Her locket becomes more than an object, it is a symbol of connection, of holding close what can’t be lost.
Crafted from clay with a wire armature, her figure is designed to capture stillness and emotion in balance. Subtle details in posture and expression reveal both fragility and strength, a quiet reminder that in reflection, grief and gratitude often walk side by side.
Mixed media sculpture (clay, wire armature, fabric, acrylic).
